Since its foundation in 1959 Nantong Jianghai Capacitor Co., Ltd has developed into one of the top ten leading manufacturers of professional electrolytic capacitors worldwide. Today more than 1400 employees produce approx. 2.5 billion components per year. Since 1994 Jianghai has been the largest manufacturer of electrolytic capacitors in China. In 2007 the annual turnover came up to 120 million USD whereas more than 80% of the total output has been applied to the professional industrial electronic market.
Jianghai makes a point of investing in the newest technologies and technical optimization of its production facilities.
Machines, testing and measurement devices as well as technologies and management systems are mainly provided from Japan. Long-term relationships with leading Japanese manufacturers of electrolytic capacitors permit an intensive technology transfer, so that a high technological reliability can be guaranteed. Together with the joint venture partner Hitachi the product range of polymer capacitors was developed. In 2008 Jianghai opened its own plant for the manufacture of high professional Aluminium foils in the north of China & started its production. Due to the common joint venture with Hitachi (90% Jianghai) for manufacture of Aluminium foils and their own production of electrolytes, Jianghai becomes nearly autarkic from suppliers and makes an important contribution to cost-efficiency in times of increasing raw material prices.

Jianghai offers a complete portfolio of radial, snap-in and screw electrolytic capacitors. This range is supplemented by the polymer technology for SMD and radial designs. The production takes place in own plants and joint venture factories. Jianghai not only produces under their own logo, but also in the name of other leading manufacturers.
The development at the headquarter in Nantong is assisted by around twenty external employees who are working in professorships of different universities and independent research facilities, so that the long-term research is supported significantly and technologically new standards are set by Jianghai.
